Personalised gifts for book lovers

Ideas for readers of every age, and which ones need a crate or bookcase of your own.

Wooden crate lettered “To be read…” with an open book and flowers, holding a row of books

Whether they have a to-be-read pile on every surface or a little one who wants “just one more” story, a personalised gift that holds their books gets used every day. Here’s what’s available, and what each one includes.

For their to-be-read pile

Some readers fill a TBR jar with folded slips of book titles and pull one out when they can’t decide what to read next. The listing doesn’t include slips, so you’d add your own.

For little readers

Make your own book box

If you already have a crate, decals turn it into a book box. The crate isn’t included.

For a little free library or community book box, there’s a decal made for it. You choose the wording, font, colour, size and border.

Letter a bookcase or reading nook

Larger vinyl lettering can go on a bookcase, shelf, wall or mirror. It’s lettering only, with no background, and works best on smooth, clean surfaces.
